Vincent is a fictional line of house paint with colors taken directly from the works of Van Gogh; inspiring anyone interested in expression that is out of the ordinary. Comprised of a unique palette of colors, Vincent brings the passion and eye of a master to inspire the sophisticated home designer.
The Vincent logo is adapted from Van Gogh’s most famous painting, The Starry Night. The lines around the crescent moon are simplified versions of the oil paint strokes Van Gogh is known for. The typeface, Lava, is reflective of the thicks and thins of the paint strokes, and the “c” especially is meant to mimic the moon beside it. The two main brand colors, Starry Night Cobalt and Sunflower Gold, are taken from Van Gogh’s two most famous paintings, and are used throughout the branding. The graphic pattern used on the side of the box is also taken from Starry Night and modified so it could repeat in a seamless pattern.
